Finishing your basement and creating a one-of-a-kind space for your family can have a major impact on your family's day-to-day life and your home's value.
Kevin and Becky Myers knew exactly what they wanted from their basement finishing project. The biggest challenge was figuring out how everything they wanted could fit into their smaller space.
They decided to partner with Country Creek Builders to create their dream space. Because Country Creek Builders does all designs in-house, they're able to ensure a smooth flowing project from start to finish. Meeting all your wants and needs is their first priority.

The Myers knew they wanted a home theater with raised platform seating, movie poster art niches, and fiber-optic Starry Sky lights above the theater seating.
First, Country Creek Builders framed a floating soffit out of plywood. Then, the team painted the soffit black for the movie theater ambiance.
To create the starry sky ceiling, 950 holes–of four different sizes– were drilled into the plywood. Afterwards, the team inserted the 950 plus fiber-optic lines into the plywood. The floating soffit was hung from the basement ceilings with hooks.
The Myers had limited space in their unfinished basement. As a result, Country Creek builders had to get creative with a custom design. Ultimately, they were able to incorporate everything the couple desired–including a bar.
To make the most of the space available, the Myers and Country Creek Builders worked together to design a space-efficient walk-up bar.

Kevin and Becky wanted an amazing bathroom with a steam shower and curved bench for an at-home spa experience.
For the design layout to work, Country Creek Builders needed to jackhammer the concrete floor to relocate the toilet and shower drain locations.
Then, a custom hand-framed, curved shower bench was designed and built for the steam shower. In addition, a 12" X 24" recess shelf was installed above the curved bench horizontally for a unique take on the recess shower shelf.
