Country Creek Builders was brought in on this commercial remodeling project to assist a salon owner after the contractor she had previously hired failed to fulfill promises made.Country Creek Builders had to complete the demo of the 100 plus-year-old building in the historic area of Grand Avenue in St. Paul Minnesota. We found Asbestos in the building that the previous contractor was going to cover up and ignore. After the Asbestos was removed by a certified Asbestos removal company; we then could start the design and build out of the store.
This structure did not have any heat or air conditioning. Country Creek Builders installed a complete HVAC system, with Air conditions, and exposed spiral Ducting.Once all of the plumbing and electrical had been updated, and the sheet rock finished, we would start the painting, wallpaper, and finishing off the salon.
The painting consisted of using Benjamin Moore Ebony King # 2132, Precious Metal Pink Pearl MSL361 and Ultra-Pure White.All of the interior lighting was purchased at Lappin Lighting in Minneapolis.An engineered flooring from Eligna Flooring; “White Brushed Pine” # U1235, was selected for the salon floor.A Designer White Countertop from Wilsonart was installed for the reception area.
We took on this project knowing that the owner was already 60 Days behind on her desired schedule due to the previous contractor failing to perform. Country Creek Builders stepped up and completed the entire build out – and the owner opened her salon two weeks past her original desired opening date.
